Air types benefit from the ability to fly very quickly. The fast flight speed enables a player to conduct hit and run tactics and harass enemy forces and to quickly travel the map. Air types are the fastest fliers in-game, however, they only have a 10 second flight time, before they have to land to recharge their boost gauge in order to fly again.
